Honey Rose Simple Syrup
Amazing fragrance and subtle flavors for this simple syrup. From cocktails to desserts to savory glazes this versatile and oh so delicious honey rose simple syrup will shine!
Servings 2 cups
Ingredients
- 1 cup honey
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups dried rose petals
Instructions
- Add the honey and water to a pan (that can fit all the ingredients) and heat over medium heat until just about boiling, stirring frequently.
- Rinse rose petals if necessary (mine suggested rinsing from dust before use because they were dried outdoors).
- Turn off heat and stir in rose petals until completely submerged. Let sit an hour or so.
- Strain into a clean mason jar, put on the lid, and refrigerate for up to a week.
