The Bitter Hound (Amaro Grapefruit Cocktail)
Delightfully bitter with a touch of warming fall spice, a perfect option to pull out during the holidays... or just any time you need a little fall pick me up! Also perfect for party sized batches!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz amaro (I used a local one from Margerum, going to try others and report back!)
- 1 1/2 oz fresh grapefruit juice
- 3/4 oz vodka
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- 1 dash orange bitters
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a shaker. Add ice. Shake fully, 15 - 20 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with a twist of grapefruit and enjoy!NB: My grapefruit was pretty sweet, if you have on that is more bitter you may need a touch of simple syrup to balance this cocktail but it also depends on your amaro and how you like it!
