Sesame Mandarin Beet Greens
Wonderful light beet flavor paired with sweet tang from mandarins and rice vinegar plus the unctuous sesame oil and a slight pop from the sesame seeds. Delicious (and nutritious)!
Ingredients
- 1 bunch beet greens
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 each mandarins
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Notes
I used to just toss the beet greens in the compost… never again, they are so good! Even my wife, who actually hates beets (I know… working on it), loves these beet greens!

I’d really like some “INSTRUCTIONS”: How long to cook greens; When and how to add Mandarin pieces (cooked or fresh? mixed in or sprinkled on top?). Couldn’t tell from photograph. Thank you.
So sorry, not sure what happened to the instructions for this recipe. I will get it updated shortly and let you know when it’s available!
