Apricot Mint Smash

Summer fruits are amazing. They are SO good, have so many uses, and cocktails love them... Enter the smash. Basically muddle up any ripe fruit that is juicy, mix with some herbs, and a spirit and you've got a fantastic cocktail. This apricot smash is no exception.

  • 1 each ripe apricot
  • 2 sprigs fresh mint
  • 2 oz tequila
  • 3/4 oz fresh lime juice
  • 3/4 oz agave simple syrup (any simply syrup will work)


  • Cut apricot in half and remove pit.
  • Add apricot, mint, tequila, lime juice, and simply syrup to shaker and muddle thoroughly.
  • Add ice to shaker and shake for 15 - 20 seconds until well chilled.
  • Strain into a chilled coupe, garnish with a sprig of mint and enjoy!


There are so many ways to go with a smash it's hard to pick favorites, luckily you can just keep reinventing them with whatever you have on hand! I've also done this apricot smash with a Bourbon, delicious!
